History of the Supreme Court of the United States

      T he Supreme Court of the United States is the highest federal court in the country. The Supreme Court building is located on First St in Northeast Washington, DC. The Supreme Court was founded in 1789 by Article III of the U.S. Constitution. According to History.com "Article III decreed that the nation’s judicial power, to apply and interpret the laws, should be vested in “one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish." ("Three Branches") . In addition to creating the Supreme Court, Article III gave Congress the power to create inferior federal courts. The Supreme Court was originally supposed to meet for the first time at the Merchant Building in NYC on February 1, 1780 but because of some issues related to logistics the first meeting of the SCOTUS was postponed to the next day. Washington, DC is our nation's capital, so when it comes to delivering news, they are the most trusted media outlet. The app is a handy tool because it notifies of all the headlines right as they are coming out. It was especially useful when I was in high school, and it notified me of all the school closings.       This is an app I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fast and easy way to get their news. The app notifies you of headlines, so you never have to worry about missing out on any important breaking news.
